About Daryll Cullinan

Daryll Cullinan is widely regarded as one of the most stylish and technically correct batsman ever to have represented South Africa. He made his first class debut in 1983 and he has amassed over 16 000 first-class runs scored at an  average of 44.12. During his illustrious career, he established numerous batting records, most notably in 1999 when he passed Graeme Pollock’s highest test score of 274.

He has played both locally and internationally, representing his country in 70 Tests and 138 One-Day internationals. He has also played English county cricket representing both Derbyshire and Kent. He has extensive coaching experience in South Africa,India,England and Bermuda. He is presently an international commentator with Supersport and coaches the Royal Bengal Tigers in the Indian ICL League.
